September 15th, 2011 All Day Event!
Pancake Breakfast – 7:30 – 9:30 am at The Town Centre.

Special 2011 Campaign Goal Announcement-10:30 am at #1 Fire Station-opposite the 18th St. bridge
BBQ Lunch – 11:30am – 1:30pm – Freedom 55 @ Renaissance Station

Evening BBQ – 4 – 7 pm – Corral Centre Parking Lot

Cost – Tickets are $10 per person
Theme is sports and we encourage everyone to wear their favorite team jersey. Autographed NHL jerseys, Brandon Wheat Kings jersey, autographed Blue Bomber football and clothing, will be part of an auction and attendance draw.

BRANDON’S LARGEST GARAGE SALE
November 12th From 9 am – 5 pm at The Keystone Centre
United Way has secured use of the Manitoba Room of the Keystone Centre for a discounted rate in order to hold Brandon’s Largest Garage Sale. Tables will be rented to vendors and admission will be charged at the door. Our last two garage sales have been a lot of fun, with items for sale like crafts, antiques, baking, retail goods, and lots and lots of garage sale treasures. Who doesn’t love a good garage sale!!!
CHRISTMAS TREE AUCTION
December 9th – 5:30 pm at Houstons Country Roadhouse
Again this year, 12 businesses or employee groups will register to decorate a Christmas Tree for a family in need, which will be auctioned off to those in attendance after it is decorated. Trees, decorations and gifts will then be loaded into a moving truck to be delivered to families the next day. On Saturday morning, trees are taken to families that have been identified by Child & Family Services as “in need.”
