Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors spans across a diverse age demographic, and pulls together 15 individuals from different walks of life and with different professional and community experiences. The Board operates under the policy board model and has adapted a governing style that emphasizes outward vision, encourages diversity, and provides strategic leadership. The Board is responsible for establishing local United Way policy, developing the long-range vision and mission statement ensuring effective and efficient management of resources, and maintaining communication with members of the community that United Way serves including the city of Brandon proper; the Rural Municipalities of Elton, Cornwallis and Whitehead, as well as the communities of Forrest, Shilo, Douglas, Alexander and Kemnay.
