Keeping Our Community Warm: Kids & Seniors
We ensure that every child has warm clothing for those chilling Manitoba winters. The reality is that there are people right here in our community that have to face the cold unprotected.
We’re excited to share that our annual Coats for Kids program has expanded to include Coats for Seniors.
Just like children, many seniors in our community also need warm outerwear to face the winter months. By adding this program, we hope to ensure that no one—young or old—goes without a warm coat.
Donations accepted: Throughout the month of October
Distribution: During November
Your donation of gently used or new winter coats, ski pants, hats, mitts and scarves will make a big difference in keeping both kids and seniors in our community safe and warm.
Note: If you missed the coats drop-off period and still have a winter coat you would like to donate, please contact our office at 204-571-8929 or email office@brandonuw.ca. We will gladly accept your coats!
