Our community is full of people who take pride in where they live, work, and play. When we roll up our sleeves and give back, we create the kind of place we all want to be part of - connected, vibrant, and full of heart.
That’s what Day of Caring is all about.
On Friday, June 6, 2025 (with a rain date of Monday, June 9,) United Way Brandon & District will host our annual Day of Caring. This is a powerful, hands-on volunteer event that brings people together to support local non-profits through meaningful projects and make a visible difference in just one day.
Here’s where you come in:
We create a list of local organizations with projects that need doing. They might include painting and gardening to sorting donations or light repairs. These tasks may take 2 to 6 hours and offer the perfect opportunity to get involved in something real, practical, and impactful.
We match those projects with teams - workplace team, a community group, or just a group of friends - with a project that fits their schedule, skills and team size.
